Wynnum

Located in the eastern suburbs of Brisbane and on the shores of Moreton Bay, Wynnum is making waves as a leading area for it’s perfect blend of accessibility and sought-after seaside lifestyle. Less than 30-mimutes to Brisbane’s CBD, Wynnum locals adore the community feel and the family friendly parks and attractions throughout the neighbourhood.

Although the mangrove covered mudflats of the Wynnum foreshore is generally unsuitable for swimming, locals make full use of the expansive wading pools and man-made Pandanus beach during the warmer months.

Built during the 1930s, the Wynnum Wading Pool and adjoining playground is the perfect destination for a family day out.

Retaining much of its mid 20th century Queensland architecture, Wynnum Town Centre is full of character, offering a mix of charming retail stores, cafes and supermarkets along Edith Street. The Mangrove boardwalk in Wynnum’s north provides a unique view of the area’s natural environment while the Wynnum-Manly foreshore walk stretches all the way from Wynnum Creek to neighbouring Manly’s Marina.

As a largely residential area the seaside suburb consists mostly of freestanding homes, although recent growth has seen apartments and more affordable living options constructed.
