6 simple steps to finding and securing a rental property

Use the search bar above to find suitable rental properties. You can filter by property type, price, location, bedrooms, car spaces and various features ranging from air conditioning to swimming pools.

3. Inspect in person

Wherever possible always inspect the property in person – this avoids surprises and allows you to ask the agent any questions you may have.

4. Apply for your top picks

Timing is crucial in the rental market, so be sure to apply for your shortlisted properties in a timely fashion. Check if you can pre-fill application forms beforehand, enabling you to apply immediately after the inspection.

5. Sign the lease

Once your application is accepted, you’ll receive a rental agreement to review and sign. This also outlines the amount of bond payable, and once this is paid you are officially the new tenant.

6. Complete the entry report

Before you get settled in the property, take time to review the entry condition report, listing anything not already noted and returning a copy within the specified time frame. After that, it’s time to sit back and enjoy your new home!
