Penshurst

A quiet suburban neighbourhood that has all the perks of city convenience, Penshurst in Sydney’s St George region, often flies under the radar. For those in the know, Penshurst offers a lifestyle that draws on some of the area’s best features – a major shopping and entertainment precinct, Georges River and eateries that reflect the regions multicultural community. 

The streets surrounding Penshurst Train Station are home to a cluster of small shopfronts that make it their business to service the everyday needs of locals. It has a village-like feel with a sprinkling of cafes that keep commuters well-caffeinated as they head to neighbouring Hurstville and Kogarah for work, or Sydney CBD, which can be reached within 30 minutes by train. All of which is in hot demand for growing families who want to lay down roots in a quiet, yet convenient, part of Sydney’s south. Apartments also have a place here, but they do little to detract from the homes that keep locals grounded.
