Proudly regarded as the most multi-cultural suburb in Australia, Dandenong is located south-east of Melbourne, on the northwest bank of the lower Dandenong Creek and just a 40 minute drive from the sunny beaches of Mornington Peninsula. ‘Dandenong’ takes its name from a creek flowing from the Dandenong Ranges and is possibly a deviation of the Aboriginal word ‘Tanjenong’ meaning lofty mountain.
