Cornubia

Located in the Logan part of the ‘Koala Coast’, Cornubia is a beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Thanks to its quiet, leafy streets and large blocks, it is home to young families and professionals travelling to and from the CBD.

The suburb is best known for Cornubia Forest Park, a sprawling nature refuge that boasts plenty of wildlife as well as bushwalking and mountain bike riding trails. Chantilly Heights Park and Cornubia Adventure Park are among the other notable green spaces in the area.

Along with a lush natural setting, Cornubia gives its residents convenience. Riverlakes Shopping Village and Cornubia Park Shopping Centre cater to most needs, while Logan Hyperdome – one of the largest undercover shopping centres in Queensland – is close by. There are several medical centres in town, and the Cornubia Park Sports Centre has netball, volleyball, basketball and martial arts facilities.

Parents have a range of primary and high schools to choose from, such as St Matthews Catholic School, Kimberley College, Carbrook State School, John Paul College and Calvary Christian College. As for public transport, regular buses service the suburb from the bus transit terminal at Westfield Hyperdome nearby. Drivers have easy access to main roads and motorways to the CBD, airport and Gold Coast.
