You will need to complete information request forms and a confidentiality agreement followed by a meeting with key hockingstuart personnel. There is a qualifying process in place, which the Head Office team will guide you through.

We are here to support you through every step of your journey with the Hockingstuart network.

After we receive your franchise application and business plan, you will be introduced to the CEO and undertake a panel interview for final approval.

Legal documents will be prepared and due diligence conducted before the franchise agreement is signed, at which point the Franchise Operations team will help you get your new Hockingstuart office up and running.

How long does the process take?
Once we have all your paperwork (including your business plan), the Franchise Operations team will need at least 8 weeks to get your new Hockingstuart office up and running.

What support can I expect to receive through this process?
We want you to get off to a successful start. Following a comprehensive checklist and project plan, we ensure all the necessary steps to opening a real estate office are completed quickly and efficiently.

Will the process jeopardise my position working for another agency?
Many of our current franchisees were employed elsewhere when exploring a franchise opportunity with Hockingstuart. Rest assured your enquiry will be kept strictly confidential. Confidentiality agreements ensure we are both protected.

What if I don’t think I'm quite ready to run my own business?
Many of our franchisees are looking for young and dynamic business partners to eventually take over their established business. We're confident we can find the right mentor for you.
